Non-profits deserve better
A decent website shouldn't come down to budget. Non-profits pay less, and small projects can be done free of charge.
Plenty of non-profits get by on a Facebook page and a shared document. It works for a while, then members can't find anything, volunteers lose track of which file is current, and a funding application asks for a website nobody has had time to build.
The reduced rate isn't a cut-down version: same work, same standards, same follow-up. What changes is the price, because a non-profit has neither the budget nor the cash flow of a business, and that's no reason to serve it badly.
How it works
- 1You tell us about your organisation and what you need, with no obligation.
- 2Together we work out the size of the job and what's genuinely needed.
- 3We come back with a reduced rate, or no charge if the job is modest.
- 4We build it, put it live, and stay reachable afterwards.
What we build most often
- A presentation site: what you do, who's involved, what's new
- A membership or donation page wired to your existing tool
- An events calendar and photo gallery
- A document area for volunteers
- Contact and volunteer sign-up forms
- Hosting and domain name taken care of
Conditions
- A registered non-profit (French loi 1901, or the equivalent where you are)
- A cause that serves the public, not a profit
- You supply the content: words, logo, photos
- A “Built by AL Creation & Service” credit in the footer
Whether we can do it free of charge depends on the size of the job and the time available. We'll say so straight away rather than string you along.
